Jingzhou Multimodal Logistics Industrial Park Project

The project is located in the Jingzhou Economic Development Zone, east of Jingjiang Avenue, south of Muchenyuan Road, and north of Baolian Road. The total land area is 1,070 acres, with a total of 6 5,000-ton berths along the 780-meter river coastline.

(I) Logistics Industrial Park. The total investment is about 1.312 billion yuan, the land area is about 752 mu, and it is planned to be built in two phases. The first phase covers an area of about 675.4 mu, mainly for the construction of the park's horizontal trunk roads, bulk cargo storage and trading areas, grain trade and processing areas, storage and logistics distribution areas, trading service areas and auxiliary facilities areas; the second phase covers an area of about 76.9 mu, mainly for the construction of the park's longitudinal trunk roads and transshipment facilities along the line.

(II) Terminal operation area. The total investment is about RMB 914 million, and the Yangtze River coastline is 775m. The terminal throughput is 16 million tons/year, of which 11.75 million tons are imported and 4.25 million tons are exported. The cargo includes iron ore, coal, grain, sand and gravel, non-metallic minerals (gypsum, mineral powder, etc.) and other general cargo. The construction content includes the terminal front area, general storage area, parking lot and the traffic lane across Jingjiang Avenue.

The railway line is connected to the existing Jingsha Railway and leads to the newly built Jiangling West Station, and extends into the logistics park. After the completion of the railway line, the initial, near and long-term transportation volumes can reach 9.5 million tons, 12 million tons and 15.8 million tons respectively.

The Jingzhou Multimodal Logistics Center project was planned in July 2022, the feasibility study was approved in November of the same year, and the tender for the general contracting of the project was completed on December 30.
